Your help please with a new digital camera. Have been using a Kodak Easyshare DX7590. What is a good camera to buy now? Thanks for imput

The one that make you happiest. It makes good images. It fits well in your hand. It carries easily. It fits your budget. What do you plan to use it for? Are you shooting family snaps? Do you consider yourself the next Ansel Adams? SLR? P&S? View? Film? Digital? Seriously.

You just asked the one of most commonly asked and least specific questions seen around here. Someone would be glad to supply some guidance, but we need some more info regarding what your goals are.
