Hi lads,anybody know is sigma 400mm apo macro f5.6 working with canon eos 5d please?Planning build system on 5D base,any good cheap lenses recomendation for entus. photographer as me?I am interested macro and telephoto mostly.And i want 5d- special for macro> excellent resolution.<And 5d accepting old m42 manual lenses with adapter?

Don't believe so, as I get error messages on anything newer that the 1DS, works great on the 1D and 1DS, the 400 tele macro with the 77 mm filter is the one that has great reviews, according to photozone.de it outperformed the canon 400 f/5.6
