lol, kind of question that can make a long long thread ..

i'm not a specialist but i think that depends of (not in a peculiar order):
- what do u want to tell with olympus system (the camera but which ? (E3, E510), the 4/3 ratio, the olympus compatible lenses ?) ?
- what do u wait as for the image quality ?
- how much are u ready to pay for ?
- which is the final use of the shoots ? (commercial, private, A3, ...)

Answering that and then u can find the good lens for.

good questions,
think about olympus E3 and dedicated lenses but love using my bellow with manual macro lens as well, all that for private work only. Some people say olympus images are not sharp as nikon or canon and i like find true opinion from experienced photographer, before i will start build my photo bag.I jump down from sigma sd,iv been not happy with picture quality in low light even at low iso(bad chromatic aberation-colour blotches)

You might want to read through the reviews which have test shots showing noise levels & photo detail here:
http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/

It's good to consider the lens options too, since not as many are available for Oly.

I'll play...
Look at the glass you're gonna need/want. Look at the reviews for all of it. Look at the glass itself. I suspect that will help make the selection of camera body more obvious. If it's true that Olympus is lacking lens choices, I bet you're going to shoot Canon or Nikon. Full frame is probably going to be sharper, at least that's what I seem to be seeing, than 1.6 or DX. See what you can learn about the speed of each body's/lenses AF system.
DPreview.
Google.
Read up on what the pros are shooting for the same genera.
For shooting wildlife I bet you're looking at 300mm and 400mm 2.8's and 4.0's and teleconverters. 5.6's are just not going to let in enough light for your AF to work quickly and effectively.. Big $$ invested in glass.

In my opinion, the Olympus zukio lenses are sharper by far than the Nikon and Cannon. There are 7 or 8 lenses available for the Olympus 4/3 system.
If you want to see images look at my red-winged Blackbirde gallery under birds at http://www.pbase.com/Ed_)Sawyer.
