infrared,CPL cokin filters which fits?

Post Wed Feb 27, 2008 11:06 pm

Hi every body..
im planning to get cokin filters P series but i read that its not good for wide angle lens like canon 10-22 although its diameter is 77 and the max for P series is 84 ..does it cause vignetting?

seconed is CPL recomended from cokin (some ppl say that its bad quality)

finally anyone tried infrared from cokin?ist suatable with Canon 400D?
worth to buy 1?

NB:im avoiding Z pro series because the prise of filters are double of P series.

thanks

If you don't want vignetting on a 10-20mm lens you're going to have to get the Z-Pro Series. I just got some for my Tokina 12-24 and it still vignettes a little around 12mm. You really have to get the Z-Pro to avoid vignetting.

I use a 'P' holder on my EFS-10-22mm and it vignettes at the 10mm end, although it quickly disappears if you zoom in a little.

I'm afraid you will have to go to a Z holder to eliminate vignetting altogether.
