Canon EOS 300D 18-55/55-250 IS compatiblities?

I know that my Canon Digital Rebel is an EOS EF-S mount, and it will load.

I am just wondering if there's any personal reports of people with an 18-55IS or 55-250IS that have encounter focusing or any other types of issues... call me paraonid.
