How do you protect your camera lcd screen?

Post Tue Jan 22, 2008 3:44 pm

I've found one item in ebay.
The seller says "World's Best" :-)
I'm using D200 and considering about LCD Protector.
If you know better solution, please let me know.

Shooting in the real world in, sometimes nasty conditions, I understand your question well. Try the products at this site. I use them on my iPhone and my Canon Dslr bodies.

the simple plastic cover that came on mine seems to work quite well.... they're cheap and easy to replace as they get hammered.

I bought a Hoodman H-D50 when I bought my D50. I haven't taken it off since day one except to clean it. It works wonderfully.

PVC

I went to a fabric store and bought a yard of PVC film. I do not know wht the thicknes is but it is similar to a clear shower curtain. I bought a piece 1 yd X 2 yds for $1.89. That is enough to cover all of the LCD screens you will ever own.

Or you can go to any camera store and pay $12-20 for the same thing cut up by some one else for a single LCD screen.
