They seem legit. You could always buy with a Mastercard or Visa for safety's sake...

Their prices don't seem any cheaper than warehouseexpress, though.

They are for the lens that I want

Purely gadget: £279.95 inc vat

Warehouse express: £349.99
http://www.warehouseexpress.com/?photo/ ... l#PC311107

Microglobe (where I usually go because I can walk there and try out the lens): £399.00
http://www.microglobe.co.uk/catalog/pro ... 5a33ee85a6

Other places on the net £500!

I’ve always preferred to go and play with the lens before I buy it. According to reviews on the web Purely gadget are ok unless something is faulty and then their after sales leaves a lot to be desired. Also people were complaining because apparently their postage is excessively expensive. I’m still undecided. It’s a good saving over microglobe but since I’m going there anyway for my macro lens I might not be able to resist ;)

Thanks for replying.

I used Purely Gadgets for a panasonic lumix as a christmas present in Dec 07 it was a very efficient service and infact the only web based service that could deliver it in time.

And the price was very competitive.

I will use them again.

Cheers,

Mike H
