info using a magicstor compactflash type2 microdrive

anyone have any info using a magicstor compactflash type2 microdrive
in an eos 300d
I seem to have run into prob's using it in my eos
fires up ok when installed but I run into problems when camera goes into sleep mode and I press the shutter camera function does not return
and the drive chirps softly and flats battery rapidly
removing card and re-install brings it back to use but disable the auto of
and using the cameras on-off swich still give same problem
any one help please

goto http://www.dpreview.com 's 300D forum and search for a treat...., it's well documented that this drive DOES NOT work the 300D.

pretty conclusive result!
what threw me was that the card was supplied with the camera as ok and compatable,guess thats one of the snags with buying cheap on the net,
still the card will go back and be replaced with two 500mb flash cards
