Battery Grip for Canon Digital SLR

Post Sun Feb 15, 2004 9:21 pm

Hi,

I posted a similar topic before, but I just have another question. Sorry if I sound stupid

For the optional battery grips for Canon's Digital SLR series (I have the Digital Rebel) is there a screw at the bottom so that you can still attach the camera to a tripod or monopod with the grip attached? Of all the pictures I saw of the grip, I couldn't see the bottom.

Yes, all options are there at the bottom of the camera. This includes the standard mount for a tripod screw or quick release plate. Everything you need is there. To attach the grip, you remove the battery and the battery compartment door (slide the little spring-mounted tab and the door comes off, like changing a watchband; you can put it back on any time you want), slide the grip into the battery chamber, and tighten the thumbscrew. Just add batteries, and off you go.
