Hi guys, does the D100 have a setting for black & white? I would like any

No, it doesn't. You have to convert in you image-processing program.

The general opinion is that it's much better to capture in color and convert to B&W later. You can dig out the reasons. Search dpreview and luminous-landscape.
It would be nice if one could switch the viewfinder to B&W while leaving the capture set for color (for those of us who are EVF advantaged).
