well. as far as my online camera shopping went. Prestigecamera.com is phucking horrible. their customer service is very bad. they pressure you to buy this and that and are very very VERY rude. the prices are very very cheap. the 400d body only retails for 799.99 but they sell it at 602.00. if u do place an order. they are gonna send u an email saying you have to call them to confirm adress. BUT. that's the bait. so i say don't shop at prestigecamera.com

i cancelled my order right away. it was no problem. u'r better off buying at amazon.com instead. atleast that's wat i did.

got my 400d right here safe and sound. purchased at 699.99 no tax free ship. body only. yyeaaaa.

B&H is great but stay away from Ritz

B & H is probably the most reliable supplier online.

Ritz Camera, however, is a different story. Very poor experience with them. Can not be trusted.

Best place to buy:

I just stumbled upon a site called http://cheaperthanbestbuy.com. They only list a few selected items in each category where they claim to have found especially good bargains. I bought a JBL On Stage II for my iPod for sixty bucks less than at Best Buy -- not bad:

http://www.cheaperthanbestbuy.com/z-ia/ ... tageII.htm

They also list HDTVs, digital cameras and handycams.

I would strongly reccommend B&H, and you can also buy it by phone, where you may get excellent attention.

Through the years I have purchased a lot of equipment. Always with satisfactory results from the following:
B&H
Adorama
BuyDig
Beach
KEH

B&H has been excellent for me. !7th Street Photo I've had no problems with and although smaller has been in business a while...KEH is OK but seems to have expanded rapidly and is making adjustments. I've bought stuff from all, but by far the most from B&H...thinking of adding a part time job to get more gear  :) :? Edit: I just remembered that I'd bought a couple of things from adorama too. They didn't have them in stock although they said they did on the net, so I had to wait a while, but finally got them. They do seem to carry some things that others don't.

Hi everybody!
First of all i am a hungarian guy, i live in the US, so my english is not the best.
The deal is : I am looking for someone who has experience, or someone who bought anything thru this websites (http://www.expresscameras.com or http://www.bestpricecameras.com ). The prices are really really low, and i feel like there is a kind of trick or fake business but i am not sure.

J&R has been good for me. Good prices and good customer service. A little slow on returns though (wrong lens ..my fault )but didn't hit me with a restocking fee.

Any mention of them ever, anywhere, on any forum is that they are BAD; untrustworthy, terrible service, they remove items from the boxes and try to sell them back to you. Trust your instincts...
