Hey slug.

Some time ago I uploaded a photo of my Rolleiflex Automat. This is the Automat from 1937-1939, I still don't see the photo or any reference to the camera on the database, plus the photos that are credited to the only Automat listed are mine.

Ball in your court.

JimP.

Looking for Olympus E-300 / Evolt.

I found photos with this cam using the search feature but the cam is still not listed.

Cheers, G.

The camera database is an excellent addition to Pbase. Many users of a specific camera can compare the quality of their camera versus a camera they are considering as an upgrade or as an additional camera.

Hi !

Some time ago I uploaded photos of my Digital Cameras: Nikon Coolpix 3500, Minolta DiMAGE E323, Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z3 and Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T3.

But, I still don't see the photos on the database.

What's up with my photos?

we're building up a database of cameras so that people can view real photos taken with various equipment.

there will gradually be more and more information on the cameras themselves which should be useful or interesting to people shopping for new cameras or learning about old cameras.

the camera database will also be tied into the forums as soon as possible.

Excellent feature. I frequently search the database by camera and lenses.

Would you please update the database by adding 2 Canon lenses: EF-S 10-22 and EF-S 17-85.

    Thanks.

valterj, the camera database sample photos don't seem to have been updated since early January. I've been uploading scanned pics from a Petri Computor 35 ( http://www.pbase.com/cameras/petri/computor_35 ) since Thanksgiving, and the count of images for that camera hasn't budged in a month....

It was http://www.pbase.com/cameras that helped me decide on a Nikon D70. I was initially thinking about a CoolPix 5700, 8700 or the 8800. After I took a look at the D70 photo work, I was sold.

Thanks to all who contributed to the photos of the various cameras, one can reach an informed decision. Thank you all!

Add new lens into equipment database!

How often does the Camera Database update??

This is the second most useful thing about Pbase. Only hosting actual images is more useful.

Are the updates to the database done manually? Because sometimes it really takes a while to update. Even though there are photos on the site sometimes with new cameras and/or lenses listed correctly in the galleries, but not in the camera database.

    Thanks!

    Hi, Slug and all,

I recently acquired a Panasonic Lumix FZ20 with it's fabulous 12x Leica zoom lens and have nothing but raves for the quality of the images I'm getting.

The best and most complete site to evaluate all of the current and past digital cameras is dpreview.com

    http://www.dpreview.com/

They have images taken by the reviewed cameras that can be viewed at full resolution, in addition it has feedback from owners.

Did you know Samsung is about to release a camera with a 15x Zoom lens. Digimax Pro 815
It has a number of features that put it at the head of anything else: 15x Schneider zoom lens equivalent to 28-420 mm, the largest LCD display screen 3.5 inches, and the highest capacity L-ion battery. Due to ship in August and will cost approximately £600.

I recently purchased a Canon S2 IS camera, and I have found at least four others who have photos using this camera.........yet your camera site only lists 2 users, and none of the listed photos are mine. Why is this?

    Orientation sensor?

    Hi,
Is there a way I can find out which of the cameras in the database have orientation sensors? I think many of the canons do.
    thanks!
