I've noticed a few places that talk about making swobs to clean the sensor in a digital slr and most use eclipse on the swobs, is eclipse jsut 100% methanol? As you can't get it over here and any site I email that sells it just says they don't know whats in it s

Far as I know, pure methanol (per label).

You can buy Eclipse in Australia from a Melbourne company at http://www.nulab.com.au. The bottle (inclusive of Pecpads) is $22 and the swabs are $154 for a dozen. Plus $10.00 delivery charge. Suggest you buy two or three at a time as it tends to evaporate at a startling rate!
