Frustrated and need assistance.

I have a FD Mavica 95. I have had the camera a few years now and seems like the longer that I have the camera the poorer the quality of my pictures and responsiveness of the camera. I realize that the mega-pixels on my camera are lower than many of the ones that are out right now, but seems like if I compare the quality of my photos with those that are said to be used by other FD 95 owners I am not getting something right. I have had formatting errors on my disk driver and they have replaced that going on the 3rd time now (thank god for warranty). I was wondering if anyone else has experienced similar problems with their FD 95 or if you have any tips for setting to achieve a better photo quality.

I think the only remedy is to buy a new camera.
