quality of CD's for photo storage?

Post Thu Feb 24, 2011 1:32 pm

I have heard so many opinions on how and what to store my images on I need help with deciding what to use. What brand of CD is "supposed" to be the best? I am considering buying a remote HD instead of going the CD route. Should I do both -burn and remote store? What remotes do you folks use?

Thanks a bunch for your time

CD's are not a wise choice, unless you just plan to have a few photos. CD's and DVD' will one day be obsolete. Buy a small Hard Drive to start with. 320 is a nice start. I have 6 HD's ranging from my first size 128 to I trig now. I also have 4 portable hd from 500 to 640. They all back up my photography. I originally started with CD about 6 yrs ago. But it's a thing of the past. HD is the best way. Good luck

I agree, cd's will be obsolete soon. Hd's at present are the way to go
