Is there a program that will resize (downsize) several photos 10 -12 say at once? I have always used Photoshop for "serious"
photography (one at a time, Mac 10.5), but sometimes when the family gets together, you want smaller, simpler, files for sharing.

Use photoshop. If you have CS3 use image processor from bridge. If you google up Dr. Brown's image processor you will learn a lot.
