I opened the same image in DPP and Photoshop CS3, which initially opens the image in Camera RAW. I was very surprised to find that the image in DPP was noticably better. Can it be that the free sw that came with the camera is better than the world standard in image editing?? Has anyone else seen this? Maybe I have a setting wrong? I made sure CR was opening in 16 bit mode. Might be hard to see the details in the smaller pics.
