Artifacts created by Adobe Raw Converter
Posted: Tue Aug 28, 2007 5:34 pmI have used the latest version of ACR + PSE 5.0 to correct some very high contrast photos. In doing so I have noticed that ACR creates an extra "line" or "edge" at the edges of an object.
got to http://www.pbase.com/intermon/image/84145306 and look at the original size, on the left edges of the flower.
I also have a sample done with the DXO conversion plugin to PSE5.0 and it doesn't show that, although the overall appearance is inferior.
I've also tried PWP (as shown in the third shot) and it also does not show this extra line.
Has anyone else experienced this with ACR??
