Aloha,

I was thinking of getting a mac book.

Are photos processed on PCs in photoshop and saved as .psd editable in photoshop on Macs? and vice versa?

Are there advantages to photoshop on Mac vs. PC?

Thanks,
Mike

I've never used a Mac, and not sure files from it can be ran on PC's without some type of conversion. I'd suggest you check the Abode site for compatibility. If you haven't tried PS on Mac, you can download trial versions here: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/ ... =Macintosh

I'm not sure if this is the newest link, but it should get you started.

same application in different command due to a different keypad function.
eg. in transforming an image, Control T for PC while on Apple T on Mac
although Mac has a Control keypad.

I take Photoshop classes given in Macs but use Photoshop on my PC.
Adobe sells this in a Mac and PC version. What you do when using the
software is essentially the same thing except that the Apple cmd key
will often do what the PC ctrl-key does.

Yes, the PSDs you save in either version are totally editable on
Macs and PCs both. I turned in work on the Mac server as-is.

It's a bit like jpgs and gifs being readable with both machines.
PDFs too.

I used Macs for 7 years at work recently and a PC at home. THe
advantage on Mac is there for people who are used to Macs.
Same for PCs.
