Need Help With Paint Shop Pro 9

I'm trying to make a diamond on paint shop pro 9 with a tutorial, but im finding it too hard since the shapes that i make are some what blurry, and the lines arn't bold enough for me too clearly see. I need help making the shapes look more bold (i guess you could call it bold)(i'll try get a picture of it soon to show you what it looks like,after i figure out how to get it on)
