I need some help with Paint Shop Pro 9

I am trying to make a photo black and white and have just an eye and an ear ring in color.


Can anyone tell me how to do this please?

Here's one way. Create a duplicate layer of your color image. Desaturate the top layer, and erase through to as much of the color as you want to show.
