Simple border or frame & Signature

Okay, I'm really new to the ps world. I've noticed that a lot of people have nice, simple borders or frames around their shots on pbase, and include a simple copyright and signature.

Can anyone share simple steps or a place to find these steps in order to do this and is there a way to automate this so?

Thanks again,

Vince Valle

I cheat I use FrameFun
http://www.hochstrasser.org/delphi/FrameFun/index.html

Only bad thing about this program is it does blow away the Exif info so I use Exifer to backup and restore the data. http://www.exifer.friedemann.info/

Both of the above are free utilities

Exifer also allows you to generate a fast simple logo on the bottom of the picture.

You could obviously create an action in Photoshop to do these but both of these work in batch mode and are fast.

Steps I go through :
1) Load up exifer and save the exif data then I logo the bottom of the pictures, save at 100% JPEG

2) Run Framefun to put the simple frame on pictures (batch function again) save at whatever % (depends on final destination)

3) Return to Exifer and restore the tag data, regenerate picture size and thumbnail info.

4) Remove intermediate files.

I will check it out

I recommend Digital Film.

It offers simple and easy-to-use border and signature.

Of course, there are other functions in it, for example, EXIF Maker, Index Photo Creator, and so on.

Drop Shadow Frame

I posted on this a while back.

The link is here with the steps to create a dropshadow frame in PS.

I recorded it as an action. Sometimes, I have to tweak the canvas size a bit. However, the action saves me a lot of time.
