Can anyone help me please. I want to upgrade my Elements from the original version and cannot make my mind up what to get.

I've been given the impression through reviews that Elements 4 is very sluggish compared to Elements 3. Not sure if this is true but i'm erring on the side of cautious.

I'm struggling to find for sale Elements 3 although i've found it for £49.99 on the internet.

Do I just go for Elements 4 for not much more money and take a risk it's not too slow or try for Elements 3.

My pc is about 2.7 processor and 2048 RAM if this helps.

Any views would be greatfully recieved.

Had them both, didn't notice any dramatic speed increase or decrease between them. My machine was similarly equiped at that time 2.4 x 2MB.

Elements 4 added support for RAW in Organizer (Album). Which is why I upgraded, not a whole lot otherwise.

Elements 5 is now out but does not seem like a very large upgrade so I am not planning on doing it. It seems like all the updates can be found with free filters.
