Stuck on this one, and just not sure why. I've added a screen shot for you to view..... I am trying to add text. Note that the font size is set on 6. When I go to type something in the box - you can see the curser size, it comes out huge.

I've already downsized the image to about 600-700 px wide.

Can anyone advise what's up with that?

I noticed the same when resizing some of my images. It appears that the image resolution also determines the onscreen font size...

I use an action to resize and put text in the photo and when resizing I usually keep the resolution at 300 ppi. Using the same action with 72 ppi images results in a similar effect as you showed.
