Hi all,

i dont see a monitor related forum here ,so i am posting it here.

i´d be glad to know which LCD monitor (19")from this list http://geizhals.at/?cat=monlcd18&sort=a ... +anzeigen+
will give me better results when calibrated fine.right now i am working with notebook and colour correction is just guesswork, and all my pics are oversaturated like from a Lomo. wud like to buy a new monitor, so, please, any one using one of those in the list (Eizo , Samsung or Viewsonic)can give me some details .

thankyou,
Vipin

thanks Bruce, that was a big help.:-)) my mistake, while posting here i never thought there may be silly reactions like in yahoo chat forums.

sorry for being frank,Bruce, but your first gallery says," hope to get better with some help from experienced people".
Well, wud it help you if i comment there ,(after seeing your way underexposed and out of focus model shot pics), `you really gotta go a long way before you start making some good pics´,instead of really pointing out some tips on how to get better with your camera? .

(by the way, she is a great model to stay still for a 10 sec exposure for a portrait shot.good work- from her part)

here is a free tutorial site if you wish to check - http://www.shortcourses.com/using/index.htm

please dont try to make this a usual chatforum.let´s all benifit from the info which gets exchanged here.

I’m satisfied with my Samsung SyncMaster 191T, now about 3 years old. This is not on your list as it has probably been replaced with a newer model. Dpreview has an active forum on PC tools with some good feedback on monitors.

PS, you genuinely expected a Kids chatforum here :? better try you yahoo or msn , atleast it´s free.why waste your 20 buck for this.learn how to take pics and we can talk.

now dont take this too seriously ,Buttercup, cos your sense of humour sucks.

Thats your best comeback? Yes I do have plenty of tissues about, that comes with having 2 kids under 5 at home. Not that you would know anything about human breeding with the opposite sex.

PS.. at least I admit Im a novice photographer.

in that case i can only hope there is enough tissue supply in your nearest store. am sorry for your mom,and i really wish the other one is not a moron like you.but hey,i thought you were atleast 10 ,Kid,but i bet that cam in the hands of any other 5 year old wud be able to make better pics than what you´ve got there:-) :D. :-) :-) :-) .dont worry, try out the tutorial link i sent you.it´s for novices .;-)

well Birdy,or is it Brucy, nice moronic idea you´ve got at this young age about breeding and stuff,i´ll never expect a gay like you to think of others differently :-),and i can see how much you know about trying to breed with the same sex ;-) u dont need to say it loud ,one can read it from your pic caption. Still playing in the garden with the Roses,eh? didnt u see anymore spiders ?:-)).

PS. `comeback´?LOL,oh boy, you still think this is your yahoo chatforum?.
why not start a thread `which joke is better? ,i dont know how to use my camera so i need to spend my time writing jokes´.

now for the last time.my post was meant to get some idea about a monitor, kid.you came with your moronic joke you asshole,if you thought you can shed your frustrations here in this post ,you are wrong. try it in someone else´s post.As i told you ,i paid to use this site and i dont expect some idiot like you to come up with jokes that sucks, in my post.

i wrote you back in the best possible polite way you moron desrve, even with some tips on how to take pics too,and in return you came back calling me `buttercup´(you are mistaken,am not your Father, kid).

so dont f-uckin write back in this post again, i got the info i wanted from other members who wrote back to me,you have nothing to do with the question so dont write in here again.you got it?, there are plenty of other posts out there, try getting some attention there. with your 53 replies in one month ,you are pretty busy helping others with your great knowledge in this field.keep up the good work, atleast someone will laugh at your jokes.

shame you are too stupid to learn how to take a pic even when windy.dont blame the wind for your mistake.

Monitors fall under photo editing software because you can't very well edit photos without being able to view it on a monitor. Calibration is also important to photoediting.

So both of you need to relax :)

I agree that the model shots look underexposed but practice makes perfect! Nice first attempt.

Anyways I have an interest in monitors too because I plan on buying a LCD in the next couple months.

Viewsonic has some new 19" LCD's that are 2ms. I might pick one of those up. I've always been a fan of Viewsonic.

i guess Viewsonic VP930 is the best pick under this brand from what i´ve checked up here and there after Alexandre pointed it out.reasonably priced compared to Eizo series and nearly same colour accuracy too when calibrated.i found a comparisson test of monitors on http://www.tomshardware.com here is a link http://www.tomshardware.com/2006/03/27/ ... ollection/

and here is one on Viewsonic VP930 http://www.tomshardware.com/2005/11/17/ ... d_monitor/.

thanks for writing, and have a nice day,
