Newbie needs help with borders

I am primarily a documentray/journalistic Photographer, and love the look of the black border around the image, not the plain black one, but the rough looking one. Just short of showing the sprocket holes kind of look or the kind youd get if you used the polaroid film for a 4 x 5... does photoshop or a similar program have borders like that? if not, how do I go about finding them?
