Easiest to go back to your original,
make another copy,
select the object that you want 'colored',
inverse your selection,
make everything else B&W.
(You are working from a copy, aren't you?)

Yes I am working from a copy. Thanks for the info, and it worked well. I lose until I read the "inverse" word, then I figured it out.

Sorry, my bad. That should have been "invert".
