has version 8 been released?

It's called CS, not 8, and it's been out for a few weeks now.

The file browser has been improved a lot. Also, the Camera Raw plug-in is now built in. They added a Shadows/Highlights command that has saved a couple pictures for me already, that I would have deleted otherwise. It now supports putting text on paths or in shapes.

I should have looked at adobe myself but I was not aware of what CS is

You're welcome.

I believe they say the CS stands for "Creative Suite" or something like that. It's what just about all of their new releases are called now.

It is caled Photoshop CS, although when you go to the "about" pull down, it clearly says 8.0.

In any event, it is a major upgrade from 7.0. I have had it since Christmas and am very impressed with the results I am getting!

Adobe CS

They have a free 30 day trial for CS. YOu download off their web site. I don't have the URL, but do a search...I'm using it now and comparing to my :lol: PS 7,,,good luck
