Cooling the dragon
Posted: Wed Jul 13, 2005 5:32 pmOK - I'm not making any apologies, I'm after my free key for Picture Cooler and I'll get it if I make two posts (good or bad) about the product - anyway I hope someone will find this interesting - I did 
Below is a full frame shot of a dragonfly in flight - not much PP just a little increase in saturation, resizing and sharpening. The second pic is a crop from the first again resized and sharpened. The third pic is the same crop run through Picture Cooler before again being resized and sharpened - quite good noise reduction in my opinion.
E300 + Tokina SD 35~200mm, 1/1250sec @f4, ISO 200
The key will get rid of the green lines, Picture Cooler can be downloaded from http://denoiser.shorturl.com/
