New GimpShop, and other free photo editing software

For simple, easy editing, you might also try FastStone (better than Irfanview, IMHO):

And theres Paint.NET:

They've redone the Gimp menus so they look/act/are named almost exactly like Photoshop. It's called GimpShop, and yes, they've come up with a Windows version just this month:
