Removing hair from sensor - Nikon Coolscan V

Been scanning loads recently but now I've got a little tangled hair that comes up on the left side of all images I scan.
I've removed the slide holder and cleaned it all with the blower brush and I've had a good look into the unit with a torch but can't see where this thing can be.
Can anyone suggest how I can remove this ? It's really winding me up now, so any help or advice you can offer would be very gratefully recieved !
