Dual Scan IV and VISTA

Just bought a DiMage Dual Scan IV ... to covert 35mm slide collection.

The Software CD does not list VISTA as a supported OS. Anybody know of a patch or way of getting the software working under VISTA.
Bought this scanner as auto-brush and pixel polish are supposed to give good results.

I did contact Konica-Minolta – they advise they no longer make scanners or cameras.

Look up the VueScan program. It's current and works with hundreds of scanners. The current release is compatible with Vista, according to his website.

have you had sucess as yet with the scanner. I have downloaded Vuescan but cannot get it to see the scanner. Strangely the scanner makes some motor noises when Vuesscan launches but the light is blinking when the door is shut.
