Konica Minolta Scan Dual IV Problem..

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has has a similar issue with their scanner. When I click to make an index scan, the film holder gets all the way in, then jams and makes a it of a grinding noise and a message comes up with something to the extent of "Please properly place negative holder.."

I'm pretty sure this is something that needs to be sent in for service, but it's been used all of about 10 times, and hasn't moved off my desk..oh well.

I ran into similar problem and it was caused by the neg carrier not being closed all the way. The neg had gotten out of it's track causing the top to be slightly raised. Give it a check and see.
