Has anyone ever used Scan n Stitch software to scan oversized art work on a flatbed scanner and stitch it together? If yes, what do you see as the pros and cons. Here is a link to a description of the software.

They have a 15 day trial download. Might try that too, but did not want to waste my time if someone has already had direct experience.

I have used Panorama Maker 4 from ArcSoft and thought it worked quite well and was easy. But, I need to scan some art work for a relative that is too big for my scanner. Do you think this would work?

I could photograph the art work on a copy stand. Would that be better?

TIA--Rene

I have no experience with the program..

.. but you could scan the work in sections and then stitch it with Photoshop (which I've done and it works pretty well)
OR, you can use your digital camera and tripod to photograph the work and then print it... that works well, too.
