I've been using my Epson 3170 for scanning much of my old film. The results are pretty impressive and seem about on par with Epsons latest offerrings in the high consumer scanner line. The newer models offer dust/flaw ICE removal option - but boy is this slow.

Overall the scanner offers great resolution with very nice dynamic range.

If you can pick up one of the in the used market ... :-)

Lots of examples in my galleries at CLICK HERE

Here are a couple of concrete examples from 120mm film (originals are a 20MPixel + file):

The 3170 is a remarkable scanner, I've printed several 120mm scans at 8x8 and the images are very presentable. You've got some nice shots in your gallery.
