April Challenge 2010 - Scavenge Hunt

Post Mon Mar 29, 2010 10:08 pm

I'm posting this a couple of days early so that we can all have a good look at the list, begin to plan our pics for April, and be ready for the off on Thursday :o

The list below consists of 40 random words (I have grouped the words into 10s for ease); the aim is to let the word inspire a photo, we can take the words and photos in any order, and they don't have to be taken on a strictly daily basis. Neither do they have to be posted on the same day as they were taken. Having a list of 40 words means that there is some flexibility in what we can photograph - the words here are challenging (especially the French, German and Dutch ones for us native English-speakers LOL!!) but I think there's enough here for everybody to be able to pick 30 and complete the month.

As is customary, can I remind everyone of the guidelines of the monthly challenges:

- please post only freshly-taken images, that is photos taken specifically for the Challenge - no trawling through archives, nononono!!!!
- although this is a Scavenge Hunt, please keep the photo 'on topic' with the word
- don't feel obliged to comment on every photo posted, but do try to comment on as many as you feel you can
- since this is a Scavenge Hunt, you may take and post your photos in any order; you may also post more than one photo a day

This list is wide in its scope, and with the inclusion of non-English words, is truly a Challenge for all; good luck everyone, enjoy yourselves and have fun in April :P

No, just pick any 30 words in any order from any group!! I just put the words into groups of ten to make it easy to see what words we're using, that's all :D

Of course, if you want to chose the first week's words from the first group, the second week's from the second group etc then please do, it's up to you!

I'm in.

Also, happy to see the we have some words from other languages. I think we should do that more often!

Thanks for putting this together for us!
