Thursday Challenge - June 18th . . . How About This

Post Wed Jun 17, 2009 6:30 pm

How about giving Lee & Bev a moment off for the summer . . but just ONE moment  :D

What do you think of posting a picture that is strong enough that it looks good both in B&W & Color?

Code for inserting pix linking to image:
<a href="pbase image address"><img src="image address/small.jpg"></a>
this will have a thumbnail and take you directly to the picture.
If you want to go to a gallery then use the gallery address in the href address.
If you want a larger picture use /medium.jpg or original.jpg. If you only want the 2nd image show but not be a link just use the img src address.

Be sure to use quotations, also if using the a href then end with the </a>

Hope this helps

Thank you for giving us a substitute challenge this week. I missed participating last week.
Now we all need to send Lee and Bev a bunch of topic suggestion......
Anyway, here is my attempt to post a photo that looks good both in color and B&W.

Here's mine:

Thank you sincerely for all the good thoughts, the encouragement, and the kindness shown to me in the past weeks, by so many Pbase friends. I still mourn, but I am not without hope. I have faith in the future, and I believe, as one friend reminded me, that my father would have wanted me to live my life fully, as he taught me by his example for so many years. I have hope.

Hello all,
This weeks' image builds on experiments that I started after the challenge of two weeks ago of "blur and color". The B&W idea seemed perfect to try on an image I took and processed yesterday. So here it is: http://www.pbase.com/laura_sebastianell ... /113945009.

Have a great week! Until then...

Best, Laura

Must admit that not even the detailed instructione left by Bev could help me this time so I'm posting a link to both pics...
Hope that's OK!!!

Is it really life if you don't have time to smell the roses?

Thanks, Pete!
I was planning a tribute to Lee ( I did one for Bev months ago) and this challenge seems to be perfect for that.
This is the link to the B&W version. You'll find the coloured version in the description under the B&W version. Just click on it.
