Congratulations to all who participated and the winners.

Honourable mentions:

Kite surfing by Markus Grompe: an interesting composition showing progression of the surfer movement.

By luxun54: the young man captured in flight towards water, we do not see the place he jumped from which adds to the drama

Motorcross_handstand by Flo Hendry: well composed capture of a motorcycle stunt

Third Place: ACF Pig racing by Flo Hendry: A flying pig…, how often do you get to see that, and a very good photo.

Second Place: by Marcel de Jong: static, yet with very powerful sense of movement, could easily be the winner of this contest.

The winner: The Blue Angels Hornets by Walter Otto Koenig: formation flying at its best, perfectly captured.

As a footnote from the Show & Tell Competition Rules
6. Any picture you've taken is eligible, regardless of date taken and camera, as long as it hasn't already won another contest.

I suggest that the photo owner and / or the contest judge puts an appropriate comment against the winning image otherwise it is hard to know if a submitted photo had won another contest.

Congrats Walter and other winners. Sorry that I have no air borne photos :(
I agree about putting a note on winning shots - I can't remember which ones of mine have won, not that they've been many !.

Interesting choice of topic which resulted in a wide variety of submissions. Thanks for picking my image for First Place. It involved quite a bit of luck.

Thank you for reminding us about Rule No.6. Good to know.
