I was encouraged to see the many photos submitted by the participants in this contest and I especially enjoyed
the variety of topics photographers presented which made the selection challenging.

Honourable mentions:

Third Place
Szczepan - Double-Bass Basker

A headless busker cloaked in red from this different POV makes this photo very interesting and mysterious.

Second Place
Alain Lestrade - Young man with a red coat

There is no question that the individual in a red jacket drowning in a contrasting background of greys is the focal point of this interesting picture.

First Place
Jeff B. - Pennywise was here

Set in the textured background of an abandoned cabin, the single red balloon provides a stark intriguing contrast which immediately captures your attention.
