Thank you all for your contributions and for partaking in this week's Show and Tell competition. Congratulations to everyone who participated and shared so many favourite photos. It was extremely difficult to choose the winners but the following photographs captured my attention for a variety of reasons..
HONOURABLE MENTIONS (in no particular order);
Third Place
>>>Holocaust Memorial<<<
Ken Zaret
A visit to the Holocaust Memorial could be very emotional. This photograph's depth of field, bold lines and heavy shadows provided dignity and respect to the Memorial and enabled me to share a unique experience.
Second Place
>>>Spice Market, Old Delhi<<<
Terry Bowker
This photograph became one of my early favourites. The busy background does not disturb the determined walk of the man in the market. The picture conjures up many questions and the expression on his face tells many stories.
First Place
>>>Foggy Morning at the Lake<<<
Walter Otto Koenig
This photograph with the lifting fog and early morning colours creates a magical atmosphere. It made me feel that chilly morning air and see mystical images in the fog.
Again, thank you all for participating
