Actually I asked myself “What’s happening?” when I heard a kind of loud klezmer music played under my windows.
I rushed downstairs and in front of my doors there was this odd band playing, there was nobody else in the street.
They played for a little while and then they left, without any apparently logical reason, as suddenly as they had arrived.



In this case, very probably the one asking him “What’s happening?” is the young man on the left....



And here it’s a quite self-ironical fortune teller trying to guess what’s happening on PBase...

It's my own fault. Shoud have known that judging on the entries to a competition with the theme "What's happening?" wasn't going to be easy. Still, what I hoped for did happen: you have interpreted the theme in many different ways and that's great. Variety is the spice of life. In the end my judgement proved to be very personal: those pictures that indeed made me wonder what's happening remained after the first selection. Within that group I judged on composition and expressiveness mainly. So here it goes (BTW all images can and derserve to be clicked on for full size versions):
