Glad you like the fish shots Kevin. I am not trying to be funny here with my quick response but I could write a short book on the subject.

1) Have friendly fish that know you.
2) Have a ton of fish.
3) Overlight the tank from overhead
4) Darken all ambient light and eliminate all sources of reflection.
5) Use a fast long lens-no flash
6) Have a very steady hand.
7) Prepare to waste thousands of shutter clicks.
8] Use full manual aperature, shutter and focus for best results.
9) Spot meter
10) Cross fingers and hope for no handshake or motion blur. If you have a nice 200mm IS lens that would be helpful.

Those are a few of the biggies. My technique is far different than most everyone else shooting fish photos today. Most people shoot with one or more bounce flashes from the top or at 45's to the glass to eliminate reflection. I have found my technique works better for more natural looking shots I think. If you have more questions, feel free to ask.

Cheers
