Several transformers were struck the previous night during an electrical storm, and surges damaged the two old transformers which resided on that pole. One of them broke down early the next morning, and we were without power until the replacement was finished, around 2am.

If I got home from work earlier, I would have liked to document the whole process. But the sun was up when they started, and the spotlight is what makes this shot interesting to me. I might have got bored by sundown and missed this shot. So I'm grateful for the circumstance I was handed.
