Don, this sort of behavior is precisely why you were tossed off my site, and off RP, and others before that. Learn to let it go, Don. Bringing up your personal battles is not appropriate here. Stick to posting new photos...it's an excellent chance for a fresh start. Become known for your talent and not your history of troublemaking.

Is it just me, but does anyone else see the irony of someone screaming about a skewed voting system, yet finds pride in being heavily featured in it? I guess it must suck when it's not skewed in your favor, Don. Life in Donworld has to be pretty darn grey if the voting mechanics of a single Internet image storage site can be compared in importance to the election system of the most powerful country in the world.

I don't post much, and when I do, it's mostly to help others out. But your incessant noisemaking and delicious brand of unique nuttiness has compelled me to comment in a fashion I don't particularly enjoy either, but only because I have a few minutes spare, rather than it being yet another chapter in the 2003 Global Don Witch-hunt. Trust me, you're not so important that I'm going to spend the rest of my day (or my life) worrying about what you think of me.

Don't get me wrong, Don. You're a talented photographer and I would certainly cast a few votes in your direction. But as a forum participant, you're all noise and little substance.

Chuck, thanks for the link. I sent Slug a message asking him to make voting a privilege for paying members only. It will solve the problem of cheating and will also keep the member database free of thousands of bogus ghost names.

As for the "personal" reference, you know quite well that was in reply to your very first post in my apology thread...the post you later EDITED TO REMOVE your remarks about two of my members, by name, and the personal battles you had with them elsewhere. If your memory is bad, go back and read the thread again. But don't edit any more of your personal attacks out of it, since we'll know by the time stamp on your last edit.

Now, none of this is "nasty" in the least. It's just more of my correcting your misstatements with the actual facts. And more of my asking you to please stop this personal attack stuff. It's a photo site, Don. Phor photos. Not phor phlaming. So do us all a phavor and rephrain phrom phurther such posts here.

Nasty and complete bulldooky again. I made an edit a few minutes after the post and then told you about it. I even told you to reread my posts a second time. You chose to leave your insults. I explain in that thread why I removed the edit. I then reposted the stuff about YOUR HATE THREAD when you bitched about my deleted reference. You got it both ways and you are still trying to contort things in my thread now. I can direct you to the text if you like.

In my opinion you and your members may be taking advantage of Slug by using his bandspace now instead of yours. I don't think he appreciates forums chewing up bandspace on his dime. You used to do the embeds on your dime but I see you now have loaded your "heavy hitters" over here.

All part of your spam campaign to pick up forum members, retouching biz customers and save a few dollars on bandspace. You could be more subtle about things. The lies and the flame is no good either nor is the "vote scamming".

I do not solicit "business" of any kind here. I have never provided a link to my customer site and never will. My forum site (thanks for the plug, by the way) is not for profit, costs nothing to join, and is just for learning and practicing and sharing photo work. Other pbase members regularly type their other site urls in their signatures as well. There is nothing unethical about it.

I have a thread here called "Tips for Using Photoshop Creatively" where I post short tutes and hints on retouching and photo art methods for free. No one even has to come to my site to benefit from those contributions.

My members who post photos here have paid $23 - $60 for their space, the same as you have. I should think Slug would be pleased that several of my members have followed my suggestion that they buy space here and build personal galleries. They are having fun presenting their photos and photo art here, and, after all, that is the purpose of Pbase.

Again, stop wasting everyone's time with your repetitive baseless gripes and just post some pictures.
