I just put together a new gallery called motionNreflection from some old and new images. Somewhere in there is a new style I seem to be drawn too. Anyhow, not sure what to call the gallery and hope you like it.

I especially like Alley, Bike, and Tram. Great effect on the first two. How do you get that motion blurring yet retain detail? Are the pics layered and combined in Photoshop or taken that way?

Hi Phyllis,
Thanks for the comments. The images were just taken that way. The bike shot is a straighforward low light panning shot, taken in very low light at 800iso and the alley shot was a grab shot of some intriguing goings on in an alley in Amsterdam. I did do some sharpening. level and contrast adjustment in PS.
