This evening I added a new gallery to my cyberbook on expressive travel photography entitled "A Walk in the Park -- only minutes away." This group of ten new photographs were all made within two hours in a park just a half hour from my home in Phoenix. It's quite a departure from my typical travel photos, for which I've journeyed to nearly every continent. I hope these ten close-to-home images will convince you that it’s not how far you travel, or how exotic the subject is, that really matters. Rather, it’s how you see your subject, and how you can make the camera see it, that produces photographic meaning.
