Thanks Don, the photo was actually at the long end of a 75-300 USM NON-IS (not the sharpest of lenses) Sharpening done by making an embross layer and setting it to soft light.

Posted: Fri Oct 31, 2003 5:16 amI've seen hundreds of photos of squirrels and ducks here and elsewhere, but the poses you caught are by far the best ever! You have good timing, good luck, or take a LOT of pics! In any case, the results are exceptional! I'd love to make those two images into photo art with your permission. See my pbase gallery for a sample of what I mean.
