One last post....after carefully reviewing the popular PHOTO 7 day and 90 day lists and the all-time lists for almost 40 minutes on dsl I have come to one conclusion.

GOOOFY

For a higher quality viewing experience, on a more consistant basis, with much more variety, try these popular GALLERY lists out.

it's especially goofy because until now, the results of clicking on "vote for image" weren't displayed anywhere.

so no one has been voting on images except for a bunch of people who have voted for all of their photos. what dedication.

it might be more interesting in a month or so, or maybe it will just sit there being goofy.

Wow, love it! Thanks, Chuck...that really a good one. I voted for it...hope you did too. The more quality images we all vote for the sooner that silly pop photo list will start to be meaningful.

Anyone else finding any high quality galleries or photos by clicking on nice ones in Random photos? You will find pics you’ve seen by photographers you know, of course. And you will find junk, of course, but usually about 4 or 5 pages is enough to find a picture worth following back to the gallery, where there may be some great pics so far unadvertised and unseen. Those are fun to find!

I am upset that all the votes I've cast for images over these past few months have been deleted and no longer count, and that I can't replace those votes. But, if the system is going to remain unfair, then I will just deal with it and go on voting for the ones I CAN vote for. There are lots more out there, and I'm going to find them!

that fishshot was an awsome fishshot

you will not fnd cleaner fish shots than that one hardly ever WOW

fish are one of the toughest subjects on the planet to photograph

and one more great fish shot from the man with the cats and fish

this one is a frontosa, a prized cichlid to have these days. Expensive too. They are a relatively deepwater fish in the wild. Specimans of frontosa can go for hundreds of dollars in the states. They are from the great African Lakes.

I have never had a chance to make a frontosa capture like this one.
