I probably have more to lose from image piracy than you, Don. I am a commercial photographer, and I've been published and exhibited. Unless some freak out there has an inexplicable jones for fish pictures, I don't think you have anything to fear.
quite a bit off on those remarks.....and fishkeeping is the second largest hobby in the world behind stamp collecting.
The average price of a small book with ok fish pictures is about $50-75us. What is available now is extremely dated.
And yes, I have some of the best pics in the world of african cichlids. A whole lot of them too. matter o fact I will be uploading about 6000 shots real soon 'ol boy.
I also have been a breeder for over 10 years, I think I know my market for fish pics.
I have had three offers to be published since dec 20th. London twice with graffiti and once with green pics and autumn pics and animals.
I also have the best mustang sally pics on the planet, that would be my most "famous" client. Shipped them some stuff they could give there mothers for christmas. They also have a couple fans around the world.
Not to mention I have the best calendar shot library my local area period. That should be enough for you. Yup, I'm just a hack shootin with a lowly crappy old prosumer.
