Reset Hit counter problem

Hi all,
I'm a newbie and wondering how (or if) the reset hit counter works. I set up my new "trial" gallery yesterday and had 72 hits (all my own). The help file says that my own hits should not be counted...so I was surprised to see this. Over the past 24 hours, I have hit the reset button many times, and the hit count still remains the same.....

Actually I note today that the hits on the main gallery page do not reflect my own views...just the views in my profile.
But the reset hit count button does not change either of these view counts.

I think you might be confused some.
The hits on your profile page is non resetable

On the galleries you will have two lines one for lifetime hits. This one can't be reset. The line right below it will be able to be rest. When you rest it and you have no hits, it goes into a hidden mode.

Also if you want to see the hit counts on the photos all at one, go to edit the is gallery and scroll to the right.

actually as time has passed since I first posted, I figured all that out.
There seems to be a delay though from resetting and seeing what happens.
..the biggest problem for my confusion was that PBase says my own views will not be counted ...but it was not clear where there were not counted....

My learning curve is starting to curve now!
